6060-T66

6060 with controlled composition for higher strength: 160 MPa proof and 215 MPa tensile up to 5 mm.

T66 is a European temper (EN 515): higher properties than T6, reached with a little more Mg and Si. That is also why its HAZ values are slightly higher than T6's. Eurocode 9 still uses the 3 mm band of the older EN 755-2.
