Specific weights
Density and unit weight for self-weight loads. Eurocode 1 (EN 1991-1-1, Annex A) tabulates the design values; its tables are not public, so each value here is shown with the public documents that quote it — the EU's Eurocodes site, industry bodies and producers. Click a value to see them.
Unit weight in kN/m³ ≈ density in kg/m³ × 9.81 / 1000. Design tables often round with g = 10 m/s², which is why 7850 kg/m³ steel appears as both 77 and 78.5 kN/m³.
