6061-T6 profiles

6061 extrusions: 240 MPa proof and 260 MPa tensile; Eurocode 9 designs them with the same values up to 20 mm.

Common in North America; in Europe 6082 usually takes its place. For 6061 sheet and plate (ASTM B209) see 6061-T6.

  • EN 755-2 values from an extruder's datasheet (only stockholders found so far)

Missing on purpose: a value appears here only once a public source states it.

Sources here are public pages that reproduce EN 755-2. For design and acceptance, the standard edition named in your specification and the inspection certificate (EN 10204 3.1) of the delivered product take precedence. Design factors are recommended values; your National Annex may set others.
