6082-T6

The structural aluminium alloy: 250 MPa proof up to 5 mm and 260 MPa from 5 to 15 mm — strength rises with wall thickness.

Unusually, thin 6082 walls are weaker than thick ones: thin extrusion parts tend to a coarser grain (JRC). Harder to extrude than 6060/6063, so profiles are simpler and walls thicker.

No values beyond 15 mm for 6082-T6 in this data.
