S355J2H (EN 10210, hot finished)
Hot finished hollow sections: 355 MPa yield up to 16 mm, 470–630 MPa tensile — and fu = 490 MPa in design, not the 510 MPa of cold-formed EN 10219 sections.
Formed or normalised hot, so the section is almost free of residual stress and has tight corners. Eurocode 3 puts hot finished sections in buckling curve a, cold-formed ones in curve c. Values here are Tata Steel's Celsius S355NH, which the maker states also fully meets EN 10210 S355J2H.

What to watch
- Guaranteed yield strength depends on thickness: 355 MPa for ≤ 16 mm, down to 345 MPa for 16–40 mm.
- Not yet sourced: EN 10210-1 yield above 40 mm (J2H) from a readable source; The J2H impact requirement itself (27 J at −20 °C in most tables).
